The announcement of Disney Lorcana's second set, titled and themed Rise of the Floodborn, has left some confusion surrounding what exactly a Floodborn is and how it is different from the other glimmer varieties of character cards: Dreamborn and Storyborn. Disney's trading card game has had a chaotic beginning with its cards from The First Chapter sets proving extremely difficult to come by; however, it is fun, simple to learn, and, of course, features many of the popular characters of the Disney universe. The story behind the game will slowly continue to be told through each consecutive set that will be released quarterly, the second of which is Rise of the Floodborn coming this holiday season.

As the biggest and most ambitious shared universe in cinema, the Marvel Cinematic Universe has set up a number of stories for the franchise's future, but many of these projects have yet to be announced. Since the very first entries into the MCU, the franchise has been praised for its apparent forethought in teasing and setting up its own future. Practically every scene features an Easter egg or clever reference to a character or storyline from Marvel Comics, and with the franchise continuing to steadily grow, these teases have begun to set up a number of future projects within their shared universe.

24 years after one of the lowest-rated and most incomprehensible episodes of Star Trek: Voyager, an episode from Star Trek: Strange New Worlds season 2 fixed it. The two shows are separated by a century and 70,000 light years, with Captain Kathryn Janeway (Kate Mulgrew) leading USS Voyager's 24th-century journey through the Delta Quadrant and Captain Christopher Pike's (Anson Mount) USS Enterprise exploring a final frontier that's much closer to home in the 23rd century. But these two Star Trek shows are linked together by a type of alien with a unique communication style that appeared in both.

The Last Kingdom's eight Anglo-Saxon kings vary in their ability to rule effectively within the show's world. The Last Kingdom portrays a long list of real-life historical figures, typically staying as true as possible to what is known about their real lives. This includes the kings portrayed in the series. However, there are still a fair number of creative liberties taken in order to layer the characters.

Robert Pattinson's portrayal of Bruce Wayne in DC's The Batman shares certain qualities with his role as Edward Cullen in the Twilight saga, yet he was criticized for his acting in the vampire romance movies but praised for the comic book film. Matt Reeves' The Batman faced the challenge of reinventing the Caped Crusader as a grounded hero ten years after Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy raised the bar for realistic adaptations of the DC hero. Yet, The Batman measured up to the task and delivered an innovative take on a gritty Batman.

The MCU's Hulk may be an A-list Avenger, but Marvel Studios has barely showed Bruce Banner's backstory and the events that led to the Gamma monster's creation prior to The Incredible Hulk. A founding member of the MCU's Avengers, Hulk has left a mark on the MCU since his debut in 2008's The Incredible Hulk, after which he has remained a supporting character across several movies and his cousin's spinoff series, She-Hulk: Attorney At Law. Hulk has learned how to be a team player, controlled his monstrous nature, became a full-fledged hero, and merged the man with the monster before playing a key role in saving the universe.
